Why does the muse seem to flitter in and out of lives, one minute theres so many poems in my head, and ever a few bits of prose, the next there's nothing? Why is inspiration so fickle? Why am I even writing this out as a journal entry? Any one want to give me a suggestion about how to get inspiration. I'll even do some (free) requests if you want me to, though I won't promise anything absolutely amazing.
Insanity of University.
Hi all, just an apology about not commenting on anyones writing of late. I've just moved to Uni and its all a bit crazy at the moment. I would have apologised earlier but I've only recently got my net sorted out (can you believe I need an ethernet cable to use the web in my room). I'll get back to my normal self as soon as the insanity has died down, thanks for understanding.

Anyone?
Anyone feel like recommending a decent poetry/literature group for me to join/get me invited to? It would be highly appreciated. By the way you're all legends.
The Lonely Recluse.
Why?
Another bunch of e-mail funnies that I got and thought I'd share.
"Why?"
Why do supermarkets make the sick walk all the way to the back of the store to get their medications, while healthy people can buy cigarettes at the front?
Why do people order double cheeseburgers, large fries, and a diet coke?
Why do banks leave vault doors open and then chain the pens to the counter?

Why do we buy hamburgers in packages of ten and buns in packages of eight?
Why does the sun lighten our hair, but darken our skin?
Why can't women put on mascar

The sermon this morning: 'Jesus Walks on the Water.' The sermon tonight: 'Searching for Jesus.'
Ladies, don't forget the rummage sale. It's a chance to get rid of those things not worth keeping around the house. Bring your husbands.
Remember in prayer the many who are sick of our community. Smile at someone who is hard to love. Say 'Hell' to someone who doesn't care much about you.
Don't let worry kill you off - let the Church help.

Make yourself write. Use prompts. Prompts are good. In fact, I issue you a challenge. Write a poem/prose/random bit of writing every day for thirty days. Then you have to write something whether it's good or not. I suggest finding that challenge thing that has like 100 words and you're supposed to take each word and write something about/inspired by it. I hope this works. Good luck and all.
